Covenant of UU Pagans

cuupsBFUU-CUUPS (Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans) is a loose network of Pagan-minded folks at BFUU. We do not hold regular rituals of our own; we do however take part in leading the Sunday Morning worship at BFUU. We also go together to various Pagan events of interest, such as those held by the Mist Tree Moon Circle at the UU Church of Berkeley in Kensington and occasionally at BFUU, and rituals held by the Fellowship of the Spiral Path which meet in the BFUU Fellowship Hall.

The Mist Tree Moon Circle - A CUUPS Chapter
Meets at 7:00 pm on the third Sundays of June, September, December, and March (occasionally on other 3rd Sundays as well.)

We hold ritual celebrations of the seventh UU principle respecting the interdependent web and the sacred circle of life. This is an eco-feminist, Goddess-centered exploration born in 1995 of the UU curriculum, "Rise Up and Call Her Name: A Woman-Honoring Journey into Global Earth-Based Spiritualities," (which was written by Liz Fisher when she was a BFUU member.) The circle provides a space and time for direct experience of the transcending mystery and wonder which moves us to a renewal of the spirit and openness to the forces which create and uphold life.

This group typically meets at the UU Church of Berkeley in Kensington, and sometimes meets at BFUU, which is up to the facilitator.  (Leadership rotates.)
To confirm the meeting location or for more information about the group, call Carole at (510) 528-9310 or Stephanie Ann at (510) 530-1099.
